Snowy Engagement Session at Palisades State Park

Aaron + Courtney’s snowy engagement session was SO fun!  They were engaged in October, but had to put some wedding planning on hold because of the struggle of planning a wedding mid-pandemic.  Aaron + Courney are actually from Austin, Texas, but they were in the Sioux Falls area visiting Aaron’s family this December.  They decided that they wanted to take wintry engagement photos while in South Dakota and reached out to us!  I was instantly so excited to have our team capture this special moment for them.

We ended up getting snow the week of their session, so this engagement session looks like it’s straight out of a winter wonderland 😍.  Aaron + Courtney were so sweet together!  The way they looked at each other and held each other was just priceless.  Courtney had mentioned wanting to take photos with a nature-y vibe, so we went to Palisades State Park in Garretson—one of our favorite spots for engagement sessions in South Dakota!
